Lydford on Fosse Parish Council is the first tier of local government. There are seven councillors, including Chairman and Vice-Chairman.
The council meet on the second Thursday of the month at 6.30pm in the Parish Hall close to St. Peter’s church, West Lydford. Further details are published in the Agendas and Minutes posted on the village noticeboards in each settlement and are also available to download below.
All members of the public are invited to speak, however, one is confined to a ten minutes session before the start of the meeting proper and is requested to give the council 24 hours notice; otherwise it will be at the discretion of the Chairman.
